Part Time Nanny Job in Ryde
About Me
We're looking for a part-time nanny to support our family during school holidays.
We have 3 children (8, 6 and 10 months) but mainly looking for support for our 6 year old who has a visual impairment, hemiplegic cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user (although help with the other children may be needed at times!) Our 6 year old does really well with 1:1 time which, unfortunately, with trying to manage the house and other children in the summer is a bit more limited for him! The support will be to help my wife at home or on outings as this can be a challenge on her own due to the combination of all 3 kids and his additional needs, we would not expect you to be on your own with him/the children or managing personal care but getting to know our 6 year olds routines will be helpful.
My Requirements
We're looking for 1:1 support for our 6-year-old son during school holidays — mainly activities at home and accompanying us on family trips. We're not looking for personal care help or for someone to be on their own with the children. The ideal person will be comfortable and confident supporting a child with cerebral palsy, a visual impairment, and mobility needs (wheelchair user).
