About Me
I’m an adventurous and kind person who is attentive to people’s needs with an ability to create both fun and safe environments. I’ve been travelling and working abroad for the last 2 years since finishing school; exploring Canada, America, Japan and South Korea! I’m a student who will be going to University in September to study Psychology and have an interest in child psychology, I love working with children, looking for work in the summer months and possibly being able to continue throughout term time holidays.
My Experience
My experience with childcare starts in my time I spent working in and over night camp in America. I was a tennis instructor to kids varying in age from 5-15, also caring for a group of 11 year old girls some of which had daily medical requirements going through morning and night time routines and supervised evening activities! I am also a qualified ski instructor; during my time in Japan I worked with children with ages ranging from 3-16 creating fun games and improving their skiing technique teaching me the importance of fun whilst learning. I am currently undergoing an internship in an international school in South Korea where I am working as a TA for 2 months, supervising and caring from children from pre-school to secondary level. Meaning I have experience with safeguarding and differentiating care styles for neurodivergent children. Getting involved in learning and lessons as well as breaks and playtimes!
My Qualifications
I have got my A-levels in Biology, Psychology and English Literature. I have my Level 1 and 2 skills instructing Qualifications and am going to be studying a BCS degree in September in Psychology.
My Availability
I will be fully available from July through to end of September, looking to make a connection with a family who I can help through the summer holidays whether that’s long or short term!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I feel like my rates reflect the varied experience I have with working with children as well as the minimum wage for my age group.
