Hello, my name is Ceilidh I’m 18 years old. I live in Armadale with my mum dad and my dog. I am a qualified nursery practitioner and hold an SVQ Level 7 in Social Services (Children and Young People) I have 3 years experience of working within private nursery’s, I have a genuine passion for working with children. I see myself as a fun young adult who bonds well with children, I am looking to take up babysitting to get some extra income within my role at my current care home and would lovemore experience within different children’s needs, routines and family’s. My Experience
I began my childcare career straight after leaving school when I started my childcare apprenticeship in a nursery setting. This took me 15-months to complete. After successfully achieving my qualification, I stayed at the nursery as a fully qualified practitioner, where I gained experience caring for and supporting young children. My role involved supervising children, supporting their play and learning, setting up engaging activities, assisting with snack times, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and ensuring the children were always safe, happy, and well cared for. Through my experience, I have developed strong communication skills, responsibility and patience. I have also gained a good understanding of child development, safeguarding, children’s routines, and the importance of creating a positive and nurturing environment for children. I later moved to a different nursery, which allowed me to broaden my experience by working with new colleagues, children, and families, helping me further develop my skills and adaptability within childcare settings.

My Availability
I currently work in a care home setting and do 3 12 hour shifts a week, i get my shifts a month in advance, the other 4 days I’m not working I’m mostly flexible and free unless an event, I would be able to let you know my shifts in a months advance to help out
