Hello! I have around 16 years of hands-on experience looking after children of all ages. As a mum to three wonderful children, aged 10 months, 9 years, and 14 years, I understand the importance of creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel happy.
I pride myself on being patient, fun, and approachable. I love bringing creativity into every day through arts and crafts, imaginative play, storytelling and outdoor adventures. I believe every child is unique, and I enjoy tailoring activities to suit their interests, helping them build confidence while learning through play.
I have a real passion for nature and animals, and whenever possible, I encourage children to explore the outdoors, discover the natural world, and develop a love and respect for the environment.
My goal is to provide a warm, caring, and stimulating setting where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn. I look forward to getting to know your family and supporting your child's development every step of the way.
My Experience
I have over 16 years of childcare experience, supported by both professional qualifications and hands-on practice. I studied Childcare at college before beginning my career working in nurseries, where I gained experience caring for children of different ages and supporting their early development.
I currently work in a primary school, where I continue to help children learn, grow, and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
Alongside my professional experience, I have three children of my own, giving me valuable first-hand knowledge of children's needs at different stages of development. I've also spent many years caring for my family's children, which has further strengthened my confidence and experience in providing nurturing, reliable childcare.
My combination of professional training, workplace experience, and personal parenting experience has given me a well-rounded understanding of how to support children with patience, kindness, and creativity.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and have studied Childcare at college. I have completed training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Autism Awareness, Special Educational Needs (SEN), and Phonics, giving me the knowledge and confidence to support children with a wide range of needs and abilities. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
