My Requirements

We’re looking for a warm, caring and reliable nanny to become part of our family and support us with the children’s day-to-day routine.

We’re based in Chelford and have two lovely children — a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl.

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–7:30pm, with the possibility of occasional additional hours for mornings, weekends and overnight stays, although these are not essential.

The role would mainly involve picking the children up from school/nursery and spending the afternoon and evening with them — helping with homework, enjoying some playtime, preparing meals and getting them ready for bed.

A full driving licence and access to your own car are essential for the role, as the position involves collecting the children from school/nursery. Fuel costs for the school/nursery pick-ups will be covered.

We’re ideally looking for someone who is interested in a long-term position and who genuinely enjoys getting to know children and building a strong, trusting relationship with them. We’d love someone who is passionate about supporting their development and helping them grow into confident, happy and independent young people.

We’re also looking for some help with housekeeping. For the right person, we’d be very happy to combine the nanny and housekeeping responsibilities into one role, with additional hours available for this.
