About Me
We are a family of 4 (or 5 if you include the dog). My husband and I both work full time - I am mostly based at home and my husband works from home 2 days / week. We have 2 daughters, 4 and 1, and the 4 year old is about to start school in September at a school that we're very excited about but that is a 35 minute walk from our house and are keen to ease this big transition for her with some dedicated care rather than putting her in after school clubs and wrap-around care.
We also have a (slightly nervous) rescue dog.
My Requirements
We are looking for an after-school nanny who will pick up our elder daughter from school probably every day (may be 4 times/week) and bring her home, cook her her dinner and play with her. We will also need support during school holidays, potentially going up to full days during those periods (depending on availability and any holiday camps). One of us will normally be home (or finished work) by 6 so we can take over at that point.
The school is a 35 minute walk or 20 minute bus/train or a 15 minute cycle (we are currently investigating cargo bikes so that might be an option too).
You will need to be comfortable with dogs as we have a slightly nervous rescue dog at home (but he has a dog walker or day care during the day so you won't have to look after him at all).
We are thinking that it makes sense to start in mid- to late-August in order for you and our daughter to get to know each other before school starts.
Happy to answer questions and excited to hear from you!
