My Experience

I have gained valuable experience working with and supporting children through a variety of roles and volunteering opportunities. At school, I coached students in Years 7–11, helping to develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork. I also volunteered as a reading mentor in junior schools, providing one-to-one support to younger children and encouraging their literacy development. Alongside this, I have experience caring for babies and young children within my family, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and engagement through age-appropriate activities. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, patience, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. My Teaching English and Peer Mentoring qualifications have further enhanced my ability to support young people effectively, while my Duke of Edinburgh Award strengthened my leadership, organisation, and teamwork abilities. Through these experiences, I have developed a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

My Qualifications

I hold a Teaching English qualification and a Peer Mentoring qualification, both of which have equipped me with strong communication, leadership, and support skills when working with children and young people. I have also completed the Duke of Edinburgh Award, developing my teamwork, resilience, organisation, and problem-solving abilities. Through coaching students, mentoring younger children, and caring for babies within my family, I have gained practical experience supporting children’s development and wellbeing. I am due to begin studying Psychology at university, further strengthening my understanding of child development, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My babysitting fee is £12 per hour, my rate is the same for daytime, evenings, weekends
