Hello, my name is Monam, and I am a proud mum to two wonderful children – a four-year-old daughter and a two-year-old son.
Becoming a parent has deepened my passion for caring for and supporting children. It has inspired me to pursue a new career path, transitioning from my professional background as an HR Business Partner into childcare, where I can make a positive difference in children’s lives every day.
I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources and have completed various professional training courses throughout my career. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, organisation, safeguarding awareness, and people skills, which I believe are invaluable when caring for children and supporting families.
I am currently in the process of obtaining my Enhanced DBS check and working towards registration with Ofsted, ensuring that I meet all relevant UK childcare regulations and standards.
While I am establishing my childminding service, I am available for babysitting Monday to Friday and would be delighted to support local families. I understand how important trust and reassurance are when choosing childcare, and I am committed to providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for every child in my care.

My Experience
While I am at the beginning of my professional childcare journey, I have gained invaluable hands-on experience through raising my own two children, aged four and two. As a parent, I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.
My daily experience includes supporting children’s development through play, encouraging good routines, preparing meals and snacks, promoting positive behaviour, and helping children develop confidence and independence. I am also familiar with managing different stages of child development, from toddlers through to preschool-aged children.
In addition to my parenting experience, I have spent over a decade working in professional HR roles, where I developed strong communication, organisation, safeguarding awareness, and relationship-building skills. These skills help me work effectively with both children and parents, ensuring open communication and a caring, supportive environment.
I am currently completing the necessary requirements to become a registered childminder, including obtaining an Enhanced DBS check and working towards Ofsted registration. I am committed to continuous learning and providing high-quality childcare that families can trust.
