About Me
Hello, I'm a 38 year old single mum of two teenage boys (12 & 16). After finishing my university degree in Psycho Social Analysis of Offending Behaviour a few years ago I took time away from my carer to homeschool my eldest son. Now that he is going to college in September and both my boys are older I am looking at getting back into work slowly by doing odd jobs like babysitting, cleaning or errands. Iam friendly, reliable and have a calming presence. I understand the challenges of being a parent and needing a break from time to time.
My Experience
I have two teenage boys aged 12 & 16 who always have sleepovers for their birthdays with as many as 10 children at a time. I also regularly have my 4 year old neice so I have many years of hands on experience of all ages. My eldest has a health condition and my youngest also has leaning difficulties and currently attends a SEN high school so I am confident and knowledgeable around different children and their specific needs.
My Qualifications
I have many years experience of being a mum myself. I also qualified in childcare back in college and did first aid training. I worked in a primary school as a nursery nurse after college before I became a parent myself. However, I am not yet a registered childminder as this is something new I am getting into.
