About Me
I’d describe myself as a bubbly, outgoing person who loves getting involved in activities and having fun with children. I have always had a strong interest in working with children and find it incredibly rewarding to support them as they achieve both big and small milestones. Seeing children grow in confidence, learn new skills, and reach their goals is one of the things I enjoy most about childcare.
I am passionate about providing a caring, positive, and engaging environment where children feel happy, safe, and encouraged to be themselves. To further develop my knowledge and understanding of child development, I will be starting online classes in Child Psychology this year.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with friends, and staying active. I bring lots of energy, patience, and enthusiasm to my work and love building strong relationships with the children and families I support.
My Experience
I have experience working as a Breakfast and Afterschool Club Play Worker, supporting children aged 4–11 years in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. This role has given me valuable experience caring for children of different ages, personalities, and developmental stages.
I am responsible for supervising children before and after school, planning and leading engaging activities, encouraging positive social interactions, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times. Through this work, I have developed strong skills in communication, behaviour management, conflict resolution, and building trusting relationships with both children and parents.
Working with children every day has strengthened my ability to be patient, reliable, organised, and attentive to individual needs. I enjoy creating a warm and supportive environment where children feel happy, confident, and encouraged to learn through play. My experience has prepared me well for a nanny role, as I understand the importance of providing high-quality care while supporting children’s emotional, social, and personal development.
