About Me
I’m 34 hold my own drivers license, I have a previous degree in social sciences and completed my BA in child hood studies last year too I also have a level 3 and level 4 SQA childcare qualification. I have 8 nieces and nephews 2 of which I have helped raise and like to make learning fun their favourite is a games day but we have an action at the end usually just silly things they can bid on and enjoy, they made the rules of the games day and you get paid in Quinn bucks, Quinn is my dog we have paper “money” with her face on it and they earn Quinn bucks for being impressive so they’d tell me all about the school day pits and peaks of the term etc. they get Quinn bucks for helping each other and then also skilfully wining the board games we play that day it’s a whole day of fun and they seem to enjoy and ask for it to be a regular occurrence. I like to be outside where possible I just think children thrive when outside. I have a Quinn who is a cocker spaniel and a little bit needy she likes a lot of attention and her favourite person in the world is my 2 year old niece.
My Experience
I ran a 100 place nursery for 5 years and have recently been volunteering and then managing for an asn charity however with restructure I have been made redundant. I want to go back to being with children rather than in the office completing paperwork. I have 11 years experience in the nursery as a whole and raised my nephews who are now in their 20s. As I mentioned I have 8 nieces and nephews in total and spend a lot of family time with them. I have been on school placements through uni and a lot of my original degrees was centred around child development. I have paediatric first aid and I’ve completed mental health first aid although it is out of date.

SSCYP level 4 and level 3
BA hons applied social sciences
My Availability
I’m available fully time with occasional weekends and overnights negotiable depending on families working pattern I can be available from 8am

- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
