About Me

Hello! I’m Lea, an experienced nanny and Foster Carer with an enhanced dual PVG and Paediatric First Aid Certificate based in the KY11 area.

I am available now for regular or ad hoc nanny or babysitting. I provide private care in your home and I’m also happy to consider overnight and event nannying. I have a BSc (Honours) Psychology and a COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. I'm extremely passionate about children's mental health and wellbeing and their social, emotional and cognitive development.

I’m patient, enjoy reading stories, imaginative play and encourage learning through play and curiosity. I love animals so pets are a bonus! Happy to do bath and bedtimes if required. I strive to develop trusting, secure relationships to ensure all children I care for feel safe and nurtured.

I have experience of,,and a personal and professional interest in caring for neurodivergent children - particularly autistic children and children who are anxious. I take a neuroaffirmative, strengths based approach and do not consider differences to be deficits.

As a Foster Carer I’m trauma informed and child centred, and keep updated with regular training, such as safeguarding, child protection, paediatric first aid. I have nanny and foster experience caring for babies and children up to age 15. I also have experience of caring for children with additional support needs including learning disabilities cognitive differences.
