About Me

Hello! I’m Lea, an experienced nanny and Foster Carer with an enhanced dual PVG and Paediatric First Aid based in the KY11 area.

I am available for regular or ad hoc nanny or babysitting. I provide tailored care in your home and I’m also happy to consider event nannying and overnight care, including newborn support.

I’m patient, enjoy reading stories, imaginative play and encourage learning through play and curiosity. I love animals so pets are a bonus! Happy to do bath and bedtimes if required. I strive to develop trusting, secure relationships to ensure all children I care for feel safe and nurtured.

I have experience of caring for neurodivergent children, particularly autistic children and those who are anxious. I take a neuro affirmative, strengths based approach and do not consider differences to be deficits.

Experience in sensory differences and fine and gross motor skills. I also have experience caring for children and young adults with various additional support needs including learning differences, Downs Syndrome, Dyspraxia and ADHD.

I have a BSc (Honours) Psychology and a COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. I'm extremely passionate about children's mental health and wellbeing and their social, emotional and cognitive development.

As a Foster Carer I’m trauma informed and child centred, and keep updated with regular training, such as safeguarding, child protection, paediatric first aid. I have nanny and foster experience caring for babies and children up to age 15.
