After School Nanny Job in New Malden
About Me
We’re a friendly family of 4. Dougal is a lawyer at a start up and I work in sustainability. We have two boys - Toby (age 4) who will be starting school locally in September and Casper (21 months) who is in nursery Tues - Thurs, and with his grandparents on Monday and me on Friday.
They are sweet boys who get on well - Toby likes puzzles, building, drawing, ball games, outdoor time running about and playing with his kite. Casper is very cuddly and energetic, he loves to read and be read to, dancing and chasing his big brother around.
My Requirements
We’re looking looking for help 3 -4 afternoons/evenings a week (Tues–Thurs and potentially Mon too), ideally around 3pm–7pm, though we can be flexible for the right person.
The role would include a mix of:
- Preparing simple healthy family meals
- School pickup at 5.30pm (from after-school club at Burlington infants school initially)
- Helping with evening childcare and routines
- Kitchen tidy/reset after dinner
- Children’s laundry and light tidying
- Helping make our evenings run more smoothly (!)
- Occasional regular evening babysitting
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience with young children
- Is kind, calm and organised
- Enjoys both childcare and helping a busy household run well
- Is proactive and happy to muck in where needed
