My Experience

I have a wealth of experience with children from birth upwards. I have my own daughter who is 25 now!

I have an enhanced DBS on the update registry. I have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate. I have applied to become OFSTED registered. (This can take up to 12 weeks).

I’m a Qualified teacher in Post-Compulsory Education and was an associate lecturer at Bedford College in their SEND department. I have experience teaching SEND students and working for 3.5 years with a child with Cerebral Palsy. I have been working with a family for 3.5 years. The children were aged under 1, 3 and 5 when I began working with them, up until the end of May 2026, when they turned 4, 6 and 8, when they relocated. I have been registered with an agency for before and after school care for approximately 5+ years. I have worked in schools and colleges as a teaching assistant, and a LSA prior to gaining my teaching qualifications. I do volunteer reading.

In a previous life(!) I worked in the City for top law firms as a PA before retraining in the education sector. I have a lot of administrative experience and skills. I’m proactive and organised.
