About Me
We are a family of three who moved to Cambridge from the US earlier this year. Our daughter is three and attends nursery in CB5. She's curious, sociable, and playful, and loves crafts, playing outside, and riding her scooter.
We both work full time (Dad in a hybrid setup at home/in London and Mom at the biomedical campus) so regular afternoon support would make a big difference for our family. We also have an older, friendly dog who would not be part of the care responsibilities.
My Requirements
Part-time carer or childminder for 3 year old with nursery pickup in CB5 starting in mid-November.
We're looking for a nurturing, playful carer for our 3 year old daughter two to three afternoons per week. The role involves collecting her at 4pm (an easy walk or cycle from our home), bringing her home, and spending 1.5-2 hours playing with her. We're also open to a registered child minder or a nanny share nearby, where she would spend the afternoon at your home instead.
If you're interested, we would also love to discuss a home helper role at a competitive rate. This could include starting a pre-prepped dinner (our daughter loves to cook and would be keen to help) and some light tidying.
Days are flexible, though we'd strongly prefer Monday to be one of them. We're happy to discuss arrangements that work for both of us for the right person. We're hoping to find someone for a long-term commitment on regular days, so our daughter can build a consistent, trusting relationship with her carer. Please reach out if you're interested!
