About Me

Hi!

My name is Lydia! I am 27 years old.
I am a professional, kind individual who loves providing the best care possible for children.

I have over 6 years experience in childcare, working alongside my mother who has been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 25 years, sharing an abundance of knowledge along the way!
We recently were inspected by Ofsted achieving met in safeguarding, 5 as expected and 2 strong areas!
I also have a 3 year old daughter, giving me lots of hands on experience of all ages

I am currently offering babysitting services

I am currently in the process of setting up to become an independent childminder in my own home, feel free to enquire about this!

I am DBS checked, Paediatric First Aid trained, food hygiene and safeguarding, along with hours of CPD online.

I am fine with all pets! I have my own dog and have always lived with cats growing up.

My Experience

I have always been an empathetic, patient, caring individual, having sisters a lot younger than me, I enjoyed being hands on, looking after them from a young age.

During my time at school and college, I occasionally babysat locally.

6 years experience as an assistant childminder, looking after children aged 0-13. Providing high quality support and care to young individuals. I enjoy creating activities that meet the EYFS requirements, whilst also being fun and engaging and meeting children’s individual interests and preferences. I love getting to know children and understand their individual needs and using this to make sure they can be as happy as can be!

I have some experience in SEND.
