My Experience

I am at the beginning of my professional journey in childcare, having recently completed my first year of studying Primary Education at Bath Spa University. Although my experience is still developing, I am committed to learning, growing, and gaining as much hands on practice as possible as I work toward a future career in teaching.

I was born and raised in Nottingham, and I am passionate about supporting children and families within my local community. My degree has already given me four months of practical experience in a primary school, where I worked closely with a class of 30 children. During this placement, I had the opportunity to teach whole?class lessons, support small groups, and build positive relationships with children of different ages and abilities. This experience helped me develop confidence, patience, and a strong understanding of how children learn.

My Qualifications

I hold a valid DBS check, ensuring that I meet the safeguarding requirements needed to work safely and responsibly with children. Although my professional experience is still developing, I am committed to learning, improving, and building my skills as I work toward a future career in teaching.
