About Me

I'm a friendly, reliable parent of a 7-year-old and I work at a university. Outside of work and family life, I enjoy gardening and spend a lot of time at my allotment, as well as practising yoga and sewing.

I love spending time with children and creating a calm, positive environment where they feel safe and happy. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your children. I'm available for evening babysitting and aim to provide parents with peace of mind while their little ones are in my care.

My Experience

My childcare experience comes from both my family background and my own parenting journey. Growing up, my mum was a registered childminder who worked from home, so I was regularly around babies and children of different ages and became familiar with childcare routines from an early age.

I am also the parent of a 7-year-old. As a baby, my child had severe colic and reflux, which gave me valuable hands-on experience caring for a high-needs infant. Through this, I developed patience, confidence, and practical skills in soothing unsettled babies, managing feeding routines, and responding calmly to challenging situations.

I am comfortable caring for babies, toddlers, and older children, supporting routines, bedtime, playtime, and ensuring children feel secure, cared for, and engaged.
