About Me

Hello, I'm Anna and I'm a newly registered Ofsted childminder working as 'Willow Tree Childminding' in Hassocks, due to open doors in September 2026.

I've lived in Hassocks for 15 years while raising my 2 lovely daughters (15 and 17 years old), and we live in a 3 bed house with our dog, Ludo and cat, Mozzarella Fitzgerald. Our home has a dedicated playroom and secure garden which backs on to a shared field with fruit trees and friendly chickens, and it's a great space for nature exploration and forest school activities.

In my spare time I love painting, reading, yoga, jumping in the sea, and exploring the beautiful area we live in!

My Experience

My professional background is in creative, teaching and healthcare roles. I've worked previously as an occasional children's Art Tutor and I have a specialist interest and experience in working with art as therapy for children.

My childminding training has given me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, the EYFS framework, and supporting children with a range of individual needs, including those with SEND. Fully up to date with safeguarding, first aid and enhanced DBS.

I'm bilingual and speak fluent Swedish, decent German and basic French and I would be happy to practice these languages with the children if requested.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £7.50 per hour

Funded childcare offered. Private rate is £7.50/hr (including drinks and snacks). Voluntary contributions to visit other settings like farms or toddler groups may be requested with permission from parents/carers.
