Hi, I’m Niamh, a 20-year-old qualified nursery teacher with a genuine passion for working with children.
I love spending time outdoors and have a keen interest in nature and animals (pets = no problem!). I enjoy creating fun, engaging and nurturing environments where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to learn through play.
My career path has included a variety of roles, including experience with J.P. Morgan Chase and completing a professional makeup course at GlamCandy. However, childcare has always been my true passion, and I am dedicated to building a rewarding career where I can positively impact children’s lives and development.
My Experience
I have completed a Level 7 qualification in Social Services (Children and Young People) and have been working at Oakwell Nursery since July 2025.
My primary experience is within the preschool room, supporting children aged 3–5 years through engaging, child-led activities that promote learning, confidence and development. I also have experience working with younger children aged 18 months to 2 years, allowing me to adapt my approach to meet the needs of different age groups.I am fully trained in nappy changing and confident in supporting children through potty training with patience, encouragement and consistency. I pride myself on building positive relationships with children and families while providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
My Qualifications
Level 7 in social services (Children & Young people).
Level 6 in Customer Service
My Availability
I am currently available after school, during evenings & happy to do over nights during the weekend. I am happy to discuss individual childcare requirements and accommodate schedules where possible.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)
My fees may vary depending what you are looking for but i'm happy to discuss this with yourself.
