About Me
We are a warm and friendly bilingual family of three living in West Wittering and are looking for an experienced, caring, and proactive Nanny Housekeeper / Mother’s Helper to support our family on a temporary basis for approximately 6–7 weeks,we welcome candidates who speak an additional language. Spanish or Russian would be a bonus, although this is not essential.
Our son, Leo, is a happy, curious, and active 10-month-old who enjoys exploring, being outdoors, books, music, and age-appropriate developmental activities. We are usually at home and am looking for someone who can provide support with Leo and help with light household duties occasional, allowing me time to attend the gym, run errands, and focus on other responsibilities.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone who can become a positive part of our daily routine during our stay in West Wittering and who takes pride in creating a happy, calm, and well-organised environment for both children and parents. Temporary position for approximately 7–8 weeks, Part-time: 4–5 days per week, Morning hours (approximately 3–4hours per day) * Start date: as soon as possible. flexible hours.
Main Responsibilities
* Caring for Leo and ensuring his safety and well-being
* Supporting his development through play, reading, sensory activities, music, outdoor walks, and age-appropriate learning experiences
* Assisting with feeding and following his daily routine
* Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for Leo
* Occasional preparation of healthy family meals
* Occasional light housekeeping and household tidying
* Helping to keep common living areas, kitchen, and Leo’s spaces organised and tidy
* Providing general support to help our household run smoothly
The Ideal Candidate
* Has previous experience caring for babies under 12 months
* Is warm, nurturing, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with young children
* Has a good understanding of infant development and age-appropriate activities
* Is reliable, trustworthy, organised, and proactive
* Is comfortable working alongside a parent who is often at home
* Takes initiative and enjoys helping where needed without constant direction
* Holds a valid driving licence; own car preferred but not essential.
