About Me
Hello, my name is Abigail, and I am a soon-to-be qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), specialising in Early Years and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
I offer one-to-one tuition and support for home-educated children, helping young learners develop their skills in phonics, maths, reading, writing, school readiness, and much more.
I am passionate about ensuring that every session is tailored to each child's individual needs and learning style. My aim is to create a positive, engaging, and supportive environment where children can build confidence, make progress, and develop a love of learning.
My Experience
I have been working with children for nearly seven years, gaining experience in a variety of educational and childcare settings. Throughout this time, I have worked in nurseries, supported teachers within classroom environments, and collaborated with staff to promote children's learning and development.
As part of my university studies, I have also completed placements in a range of settings, further developing my knowledge and experience of supporting children across different ages and stages of development.
My Qualifications
GCSE- Maths, English Language, Science, RE (Grade 4 or above)
Level 2 Childcare (Merit) Level 3 Childcare (A*)
BA (Hons) Early Education 3-7 with QTS. (In progress for 2:1)
My Availability
am available throughout the day on Wednesdays and after school/evenings on most weekdays. If these times are not suitable, I will do my best to be flexible and accommodate alternative times where possible.
I am also available for some weekend sessions, subject to availability.
