My Experience

Providing 2:1 support for a non-verbal child with complex needs to enable him to access
age-appropriate activities within the local community like swimming, gymnastics,
trampolining and also exploring the outdoors like the countryside, the woods, streams, rivers and the beach also. He requires constant supervision as he has no sense of safety; he has diagnoses of autism, ADHD, dyspraxia and PICA so it is important to be prepared and
attentive. He is supported with reins, a pushchair or walks and there are times he does run
away whether that is to do with his routine or dysregulation, we are there to tend to him with
a patient manner. Helping him with his communication skills, personal care and responding
sensitively, confidently and positively to any changes in behaviour. Meeting his interests -
understanding he loves tactile play and we can bring joy to his life by facilitating these
activities aligned with his condition. Flexible working for staff sickness at short notice.

My Qualifications

I have GCSEs and A-Levels. When I worked with the SEN school, I was also trained there with Autism training, Safeguarding, etc.

My current job role enables me to have hands-on experience with children who have complex needs. If the candidate has questions in regards to my experience or qualifications, please do reach out.

My Availability

At this time I am unavailable on Monday 4-6.30pm, Saturday 9-2pm and Sunday 2-6pm.

I can work any other days and times.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

I am currently being paid £14 per hour.
