My Summary
About Me
Hello! My name is Alessandra, and I am a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic childcare professional with a First-Class BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from King’s College London. I am patient, reliable, and enjoy building positive relationships with children of all ages. I love engaging children in creative activities, reading, outdoor play, educational games, and helping with homework. I am also multilingual, speaking English, Italian, and Hungarian fluently, with conversational Spanish.
My Experience
I currently work as an Assistant Psychologist within a Community Paediatrics Service, supporting children and young people aged 0–17 with a range of developmental and emotional needs. My role involves working closely with children, families, schools, and healthcare professionals.
Alongside this, I have experience supporting young people in crisis through my role with The Children’s Society and have previously worked in child and adolescent mental health settings, including specialist NHS services. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, understanding of child development, and ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
I am experienced in safeguarding, supporting children with additional needs such as autism and ADHD, and creating positive, child-centred environments where children feel comfortable, valued, and understood.
