My Experience
I’ve been doing one-to-one tutoring for over 5 years now, helping students of all different starting points and abilities find their feet in STEM. My main focus is on GCSE Higher Tier Maths and Physics—subjects where it’s incredibly common for students to get stuck or lose confidence.
Because I use my background from my Engineering Master's degree at Bristol everyday, I don't just teach the theories; I show students how to actually apply them. Over the years, I've worked extensively with hard-working neurodivergent students, including those with dyslexia. I know first-hand that traditional classroom teaching doesn’t work for everyone. Because of that, my approach is all about giving students practical, tailored revision strategies—breaking down complex, wordy exam questions into predictable, manageable steps and making sure they know it's completely okay to make mistakes while we learn.
My Qualifications
I hold an MEng (Master of Engineering) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol. My academic foundation in STEM is built on achieving straight A/A grades* in my own Mathematics and Physics GCSEs and A-Levels. Additionally, I am fully Enhanced DBS checked, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all sessions.
