Hello! My name is Poppy and I am a qualified 23 year old early years practitioner. I believe children learn best in natural environments so we will spend a lot of time outdoors doing forest school inspired activities, whatever the weather! I also like to foster independence and self confidence by taking things slow and letting children work out how to do things their own way, whether that is putting on shoes or making breakfast. I believe if we show children trust and respect they will show us how responsible they can be with safe supervision. My Experience
I have 4 years experience working in 2 nurseries, one Montessori and one Reggio Emilio. At one of these settings I was the Toddler Room Lead for over a year so I spent most of my time with age 2-3, however I have experience with 7 months - 5 years. I also had experience doing 1:1 SEND work. In this time I took part in lots of different training opportunities, including outdoor provisions and belonging and inclusivity. I also have level 3 Early Years qualification, Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS.
Before working in nurseries I trained in Circus and Physical Theatre. During this time I taught regular children's circus classes which I still like to incorporate into my early years work.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, Enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid, Diploma in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre.
My Availability
I am currently looking for a full time nanny position, ideally 8am-6pm weekdays. However I can be flexible with timings and am also happy to take one off work with early mornings, nights and weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
1 child £16 (Over 8 hours)
2 children £18 (Over 8 hours)
1 child £18 (Under 8 hours)
2 children £20 (Under 8 hours)
My rates my change depending on age of the children and other specific circumstances.
