My Summary

My Experience

During my work experience in a primary school, I supported a small group of children during a classroom activity where some students were struggling to stay focused and work together. I remained patient, encouraged positive behaviour and helped explain tasks in a simple and supportive way so that everyone felt included and understood what they needed to do.

One child in particular was feeling upset and lacked confidence in participating, so I took time to reassure them individually, listen to their concerns and encourage them step by step. By staying calm and positive, I helped the child feel more comfortable and willing to join in with the activity.

As a result, the group became more engaged, worked better together and completed the task successfully. The child who was initially struggling became more confident and participated more throughout the session. This experience helped me strengthen my communication, teamwork and behaviour management skills, while showing me the importance of creating a supportive and encouraging environment for children.

My Qualifications

I have achieved five GCSEs, including a Distinction in Business Studies, as well as passes in Mathematics, English, Science and Sociology. I have also completed a Level 3 BTEC in Business, achieving MMM. Through my studies, I have developed strong communication, organisation, teamwork and problem-solving skills, which I am able to apply effectively in both educational and workplace environments.

I am currently exploring childminding opportunities and have not yet reached established my fee structure. Fees will be set in line with local market rates and the services provided.
