About Me
Qualified and experienced teacher and tutor, I am dedicated to support children thrive in their own learning journey. My main area of expertise is foreign languages. I graduated in economic and social sciences, in languages (French, Arabic). I also have a PGCE in Education focusing on differentiation, ie how to make the learning more individualised and adapted to each student so he/she can learn better. I have been raised in France from a North African background. Having lived with different cultures is an asset in tutoring.
I am passionate about education and I consider it to be a core need in someone else's life. Therefore, my brain constantly works to find ways adapted to each learner so he can progress, with my main strategy being creating interest for the learner in the subject. This is the way a person learns without even noticing. I observe a lot, reflect and try to understand the child so I can guide him/her towards the right resources and facilitate her/his learning.
I have implemented this mindset with my almost-3-year-old son who now can read books, without having taught him phonics. I use a lot of games, mnemotechnic ways to memorise info, practical situations in my teaching.
My Experience
I have more than 5 years experience in tutoring different students from different social backgrounds in different school subjects up to KS3. Also in French and Arabic for older kids. I have a consequent experience with specific needs, I have been working with students suffering from autism, dyslexia, ADHD, SEMH needs, supporting them in different areas (from phonics and literacy to preparation for exams (GCSE, A-level in languages)

My Availability
During school hours 2 to 3 days a week depending on how many hours are needed. As I have 2 young children, my flexibility outside of school hours is more restricted but can be discussed.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £19.00 per hour
Group session (max 4 children) : From £19/hour
Online session : From £35/ hour
In-person : From £45/ hour up to £75 (depending on location, amount of hours needed, preparation time)
