About Me
Hello! I’m Shazia, a registered childminder registered with an Ofsted-registered agency. I am based in GU15, Camberley (the only Childminder registered with the agency in the area), offering a safe, caring and welcoming home-from-home environment where children can learn, play and grow with confidence.
Working with children has been my passion for over 20 years, and I genuinely love watching them develop into happy, confident little people. Every child is unique, so I take the time to get to know them, understand their interests and support them at their own pace. I work closely with parents because I believe the best care comes from working together as a team.
Our days are full of fun, learning and adventure. We enjoy arts and crafts, messy play, music, story time, baking and learning through play, as well as plenty of time outdoors. We have a large, secure garden where children can play freely, and we’re only a short walk from local parks and nearby woodland with a lake and ducks, giving us lots of opportunities to explore nature and enjoy fresh air throughout the year.
I speak both Punjabi and Urdu as well as being proficient in Makaton, and I enjoy celebrating different cultures and making every family feel welcome. Families also benefit from the agency app, where you can receive updates and photos throughout the day, along with the reassurance of ongoing quality checks and professional support.

As part of the Ofsted-registered agency, families benefit from more than just high-quality childcare. You’ll receive regular updates and photos through the agency app, giving you a window into your child’s day, along with the reassurance of ongoing quality assurance visits and continuous professional support. This means you get the personal feel of a home-from-home setting with the backing of a trusted childcare network. The Ofsted-registered agency also provides a 24 hour online GP. My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working with children and have cared for children of all ages and stages of development. Caring for children has always been more than just a job to me – it’s something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about.
From April 2004 to May 2011, I worked at a community preschool, where I supported children as they learned and developed through play in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. I built strong relationships with both children and their families, helping each child feel confident, happy and supported as they grew.
From 2015 to 2026, I worked at a private nursery, where I continued to build on my experience in early years childcare. I planned fun and engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supported each child’s individual learning and development, and worked closely with families to ensure every child received the care and encouragement they needed to thrive.
Over the years, I’ve helped many children reach important milestones, develop confidence and prepare for school. I believe every child is unique, so I take the time to understand their individual needs, interests and routines, creating a positive environment where they feel safe, valued and encouraged to learn through play.
With over 20 years of professional childcare experience, I bring patience, kindness and a calm, caring approach to everything I do. My goal is to provide a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel happy, secure and excited to learn, while giving parents complete peace of mind.
My Qualifications
Providing children with the highest standard of care is something I take great pride in, and I believe it’s important to keep learning and developing throughout my career.
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which helps me support every child’s learning and development in a fun, engaging and age-appropriate way.
I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, giving parents peace of mind that their child’s safety and well-being are always my top priority. I am also proficient in Makaton, which allows me to support children’s communication and helps create an inclusive environment where every child feels understood and valued.
As a childminder registered with an Ofsted-registered agency, I regularly complete ongoing professional training to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. This ensures I continue to provide the highest quality care while following the latest guidance and best practices in early years education.
My qualifications and experience allow me to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children feel happy, confident and supported as they learn, play and grow every day.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.84 per hour
Parents need to provide a packed lunch and dinner. For £2 extra, I will provide breakfast (a selection of fresh fruit, pancakes/cereal aligned with NHS recommendations). For £1 extra, I will provide a snack (carbs and fruit). Nappies, creams etc. must be provided by parents.
