My Experience

I have over 3 years of direct childcare experience across nursery and kindergarten settings. At Omid Farda Nursery I supervised babies, toddlers, and young children daily, implementing safeguarding and child protection protocols, carrying out accident reporting, conducting health and safety checks, and maintaining the highest hygiene standards. I designed age-appropriate play activities supporting fine and gross motor skills, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing, and communicated regularly with parents and carers. At Roshana Kindergarten I planned and delivered structured activities for children of varying developmental stages, applied behaviour management strategies, upheld SEN awareness and inclusive practice, and conducted risk assessments. At Javaneha Kindergarten I supported children in a nursery food environment, maintaining food hygiene standards and mentoring new staff.

My Qualifications

MRes Biomedical Engineering — University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (currently enrolled). Strong academic grounding in human anatomy, physiology, and development, directly supporting professional understanding of early years growth milestones. SCQF Level 9 equivalent. Paediatric First Aid (PFA) — willing to obtain certification prior to starting any role. Happy to apply for Enhanced DBS check immediately upon request.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Sunday across mornings, afternoons, after school hours, and evenings. I am fully flexible and happy to work varied hours to suit family needs, including last-minute or short-notice bookings. My availability may vary slightly around university commitments, but I am highly reliable and always communicate openly about my schedule in advance.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

My rate is £12.50 per hour for standard babysitting and childcare sessions. I am happy to discuss rates for regular bookings, longer sessions, or multiple children, and I am open to agreeing an arrangement that works well for the family.
