Hello, I'm Sophie!
I'm a qualified primary school teacher with 11 years of teaching experience, currently working part-time while raising my two young daughters. I am looking to support a child either during the day on Thursdays or after school on Tuesdays.
I am a patient, caring and positive educator who is passionate about helping children build confidence, develop a love of learning, and achieve their full potential. I pride myself on creating a nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe, and valued.
My teaching approach is engaging and creative, incorporating drawing, role-play, songs, games and other fun, interactive activities to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
I also have significant experience supporting children with SEND and understand the importance of adapting teaching strategies to help every child succeed. Building strong, positive relationships with children and their families is at the heart of everything I do.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and regularly complete safeguarding training to ensure the highest standards of care and safety.
I have my own car and can travel to your home (subject to distance), or I can provide support from my own home. Sessions can be delivered in person or remotely, depending on what best suits your family's needs.
I look forward to helping your child grow in confidence and flourish in their learning journey.
My Experience
I have taught across Years 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, giving me extensive knowledge of the primary curriculum and the skills to tailor learning to individual needs. I have tutored many students in the past.

BA (Hons) Primary Education -University of the West of England. (QTS)
My Availability
I am available Tuesdays between 4-7pm.
Thursdays between 9-5pm.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
