About Me
I have 2 school age children of my own and have always worked in childcare. I offer a relaxed "home from home" setting. I have a garden but the children also take part in a range of outdoor activities at the local parks, woods and during walks. We spend time outside most days. I also take the children out in the community for example to toddler groups, shops, cafes, soft play, a local care home and on short outings on public transport. I focus on a child led curriculum and guide the children to meet their developmental goals whilst doing what they enjoy.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 4 years but have a total of 27 years experience in child care and educational settings. I have worked in various roles and settings over the years including as a nursery practitioner, nanny, creche assistant and teacher. I was a communication and literacy lead teacher and taught children with additional needs for 11 years before becoming a childminder.
My Qualifications
PGCE in Education (specialism in EYFS and Key Stage 1).
Ofsted recognised introduction to childminding.

My Availability
I am a term time only setting. My opening hours are 7.30am - 5 30pm Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri. I currently have a space for Mon/Thurs/Fri from September.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
I accept government funding. Any additional, non-finded hours are charged at my hourly rate.
Meals, consumables and any outings are charged in addition.

We are so thankful to have found Claire. She cares for both of my children since I returned to work after both of my maternity leaves, and they absolutely adore her. They are always happy and excited to go each day, and it is clear how much they enjoy their time with her.
Claire is kind, caring, and provides a wonderful home-from-home environment where my children feel safe and happy.
I would highly recommend Claire.

We couldn’t be happier with Claire! Both of my children attend, and they absolutely love it there. They are always happy, well cared for, and excited to go each day.
Claire is kind, caring, and trustworthy, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the children. Knowing my kids are safe and happy gives me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend her to any parent.
