Melissa
Looking for a childminder and a nanny/babysitter.
About Me
Hi, I'm Melissa. I'm married and currently have 3 children and after a 10yr gap, we have a 4th on the way, due in August but having her in late July.
We have a quite a lot pets that we adore. We live just outside of Huntingdon in a quiet little village. I am new to having childcare as I have always been a stay at home mum with my 3 children, however for the past 6 years, I have enjoyed going back to work.
Our children are lovely and friendly, very polite and always wanting to help however they can.
My husband works doing house removals for a local company which means he has variable hours.
At home, I create shoes but I also work away as a make-up artist and attend events most weeks which is why I need some help once the baby is born.
My Requirements
Initially I was looking for a nanny but the hours I need seem a little complicated for it (apparently).
I plan to go back to work from September and will need childcare for 2 days for nearly every week, and if possible maybe an extra day- Wednesday. I understand that my baby could be too young for most childminders and I'd need to wait a little but I would like to start getting a plan in action.
I am looking for a childminder (Warboys or close to Warboys) and also a nanny or babysitter to help with taking my baby to and from the childminder and to care for them for a few hours before and after.
I would only need a childminder from a Thursday afternoon (I can drop my baby off on this day) and then a nanny or babysitter to collect and then look after my baby at my house until my husband returns home from work (usually 6-7pm but very occasionally later due to the nature of his job).
Then on Friday, for the nanny or babysitter to care for my baby in my house until the childminder is open, drop off, and then collect at the end of the day from the childminder to then care for my baby in my home until my husband is back from work.
I would need the nanny/babysitter to be flexible with his hours as he doesn't work set hours each day. For example; some more mornings he will not start work until 8am,other mornings 6am/6.30am/7am etc, and then some days he is back at 2pm (and could collect our baby himself) but then other days he may not finish until 8pm (not as often but occasionally it does happen if there has been a delay).
I am new to all of this and still trying to work out the best solution so that I can go back to work as soon as possible.
Thank you!
