About Me
Full or part time vaccancy for 0 to 3 years old. I work alongside another childminder Jessica my daughter, we have worked together for over 10 years. We cover Gordon Primary Shool plus Royal Eltham Pre-School although we have no spaces left in these age ranges currently.
I am a mother of 5 children 2 are in their 20s, 1 is at primary school and 2 at secondary school. Having previously used a childminder for my older two children, I understand the needs and concerns of a parent/carer. We will provide a safe and friendly environment for your child to grow and develop, with interesting activities both in and outdoors, also a variety of games and toys for children to play with. We organise trips for the school holidays. We provide all meals, nappies, wipes etc. Communication is the key to a happy childminded child.
To help support my childminding service I attend various events and meetings to update my knowledge along with various training courses attended over the years, I speak basic French and German. We have a number of pets, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 chickens & tropical fish. The dogs are trained and respond to commands from the adults and children that they know, one of the reasons for getting the dogs was because some of the children had fears so they have seen the dogs grow from a puppy and now have lost those fears; the other animals are also child friendly.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2007 and have experience in working with children diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, children with speech & communication problems, children with partial hearing, global delays, visual problems and various eating issues. We use Makaton with some of the children and have had a variety of special needs training.
I also have experience of working with parents and their various medical conditions and needs.
My Qualifications
Introduction to childcare practice, Basic Sign language, Paediatric first aid, basic food hygiene, using observation to support children with special educational needs, these are just a few of the courses I have attended. I have a folder full of certificates you can look at. Plus the children have taught me so much as each child is different.
My Availability
We have availability for 0 to 3 only currently. My opening times are Monday - Friday 7.30am - 6pm we are open 47 weeks a year. I offer all year round or term time only contracts. I try to be flexible around your needs.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
On request. Fees are fully inclusive there are no additional costs involved.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Gordon Primary School

My son has been with Anita since September 2024, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. As a neurodiverse child, he has received exceptional care, support, and understanding from the very beginning. Anita has worked closely with both me and his preschool to ensure consistency across all settings, and her communication has always been excellent.
Since joining her setting, my son has made incredible progress, going from being completely non-verbal to confidently forming sentences and communicating his needs.
Most importantly, my son is happy, safe, and thriving. He loves attending and always looks forward to his time there. The setting is warm, welcoming, and full of happy, engaged children, which reflects the dedication and care Anita provides every day.
We are so grateful for everything Anita has done for our son and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a caring and supportive childcare provider.
