Live In Nanny Job in Staines-upon-Thames
About Me
Hola!
We are a friendly Spanish family of three living in Staines-upon-Thames. Our family consists of Mum, Dad, and our cheerful little boy, who was born in March 2026.
Family is very important to us, and we are looking for a kind, reliable, and nurturing nanny who can become a valued part of our son's early years. We believe in building strong, trusting relationships based on open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork.
Our home is a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment. Dad works from home part of the week, and I (Mum) currently work from home full-time, meaning there is usually a parent nearby for support if needed. We value creating a positive atmosphere where our child can learn, grow, and thrive through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.
As first-time parents, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies / young children, shares our caring approach, and is interested in building a long-term relationship with our family. We appreciate creativity, play, warmth, and a child-centred approach to learning and development.
We look forward to meeting someone who will help our little one feel safe, happy, and loved while supporting his development during these important early years.
My Requirements
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and, ideally, experienced nanny to look after our son, from late August/early September 2026, when he will be six months old.
The role will be approximately 35 hours per week (timetable to be agreed with the righ candidate), Monday to Friday, for around 42 weeks per year, primarily during school term times plus a small number of additional weeks. We are open to both live-out and live-in arrangements for the right candidate.
We would like someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies, is warm, patient, and attentive to children's developmental needs. Previous experience with infants is highly desirable, although we are also open to candidates who are enthusiastic about learning and developing their childcare skills. We are happy to support relevant training, including paediatric first aid.
The ideal nanny will provide a safe, nurturing, playful, and stimulating environment, encourage age-appropriate development through play-based activities, and build a strong, trusting relationship with both our son and our family.
A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), excellent references, and the right to work in the UK are essential. Driving is desirable but not essential.
We are seeking someone who is looking for a long-term position and who values open communication, mutual respect, and working collaboratively with parents.
