My Experience

On a daily basis, I work closely with children who require extra care, structured routines, and specialized behavioral management.My hands-on school experience includes:Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviors calmly.Supporting children with severe speech, language, and communication difficulties.Following precise individual education and care plans.Using positive reinforcement to keep children safe, happy, and engaged.In addition to my school work, I also volunteer with the Special Olympics. This has given me fantastic experience supporting young athletes with intellectual disabilities, helping them build confidence, and keeping them active in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.Because I do this work every single day, I am incredibly comfortable handling complex needs, meltdowns, and sensory sensitivities. I want to bring this expertise to a family over the summer holidays to provide fun, structured care for your child and well-deserved respite for you.

My Availability
I am completely free and available for full-time hours, long days, and weekend work throughout the entire summer holidays once the school term ends. Because I don't drive, I am happy to commute via bus or walking around Plymouth. I am highly flexible and open to early starts, late finishes, or last-minute care to help out busy families.

- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
My standard rate is £18 per hour. This reflects my professional, full-time experience as a 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant and my background volunteering with the Special Olympics.I am highly experienced in managing complex additional needs, sensory sensitivities, and challenging behaviors safely. I also hold a fully Enhanced DBS check.I am open to discussing daily or weekly flat rates for families who require consistent, high-volume, or full-time care throughout the 6-week summer holidays.
