My Experience

I have worked in the education sector for the past 4 years, for an education charity and then as a Primary School Teacher. Before this, when studying for my degree, I worked part-time with children. All of these roles have required confidence in communicating with children of various ages, and I have developed many interpersonal skills in supporting young people with homework and subject knowledge. I am also experienced at providing stimulating activities for children to learn and develop their interests and skills.

In addition, I have lots of work experience with students with SEND, and feel confident supporting them, adapting my communication style to meet their needs. Having recently moved to Devon, I am looking for a role over the summer before I begin my Primary Teacher Training in September.

I have an Enhanced Working with Children DBS certificate, last updated October 2025.

My Qualifications

I have a Psychology degree from the University of Bath, where I specialised in Developmental Psychology and Language Development.

My Availability

I can be very flexible with my availability during the week, and may be available for occasional weekend work.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

Whilst I am just beginning my childcare journey, I have lots of experience working with children (including SEND). I also have an enhanced DBS check and my own car which I would be willing to use if needed.
