We found Sharon on here around March 2023 for our daughter who was turning 1, when I first met Sharon I could tell she would be a trustworthy, loving & fun setting for our 1 year old. She met all of our expectations! Eryn settled well pretty instantly and grew to love her time with “nanny Sharon” more and more. Her house became a home from home and we loved seeing pictures and hearing about all the adventures they got up to, softplay, the farm, parks and lots more. Sharon is very caring and nurturing and had clear boundaries for the children which I liked. Her home was always spotless and full of fun toys and activities for the children to enjoy. Our daughter learnt so much and we always felt she was 100% safe and well looked after. I would recommend Sharon to anyone looking for a childminder, we were sad when it was time for our daughter to move on & join our eldest daughter’s school, but we will definitely be keeping in touch. Thankyou again Sharon for all that you have done for Eryn & our family, we are so grateful!

Thank you Tiffany and Ant its been lovely working with you and having Lauren I hope she enjoys nursery and will be in touch.
Sharon is a very special person to our family, a highly experienced childminder and a true gem.
Both of my children have spent 3 years at her beautiful, clean and warm home in Horley as she helped them grow, took exceptional care of them and nurtured their development as their dedicated childminder, as well as supporting us for extra babysitting hours. Sharon is very friendly, relatable and professional. There is no one else we would rather entrust our children to. She is an outstanding and reliable childminder. She is vibrant, fun, very active as she goes over and beyond to make their every single day with her special, taking them on regular walks, farm and park visits. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Any child would be lucky to have her take care of them. We hope Nanny Sharon will always stay in our lives.

Thank you Kat and Albin in all nearly 6 years we will keep in touch .
Sharon cared for our son from when he was 14 months old until he started school aged 4, and it was a very sad day when we had to say our goodbyes. She really does offer a true 'home from home' environment and it was a real comfort to us knowing that our son was being cared for by such a lovely person with decades of experience.
Over the 3+ years he was with her, she taught him manners and respect and how to socialise with other children. She consistently provided a structured daily routine for him, and always kept us up to date on his progress - which she monitored all the time. We were sent lots of photos of what he got up to during the day, which we really appreciated. She encourages all the children to eat healthy food and stay hydrated and always ensures that they don't watch the TV or iPad while in her care. One stand-out point is that she is also a fabulous teacher and went above and beyond in teaching our son about shapes, colours, numbers, letters etc. as he got older. She also decorates her house beautifully for Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc and does lots of arts and crafts related to the different seasons. Her playroom and garden are incredibly well organised and stocked and every day our son got to do a different activity and bring home his creation. She also ensures the children get plenty of time outdoors - be it in the sun or rain she he was able to have fun and get lots of exercise.
Sharon has an abundance of energy and enthusiasm - I don't know how she does it! Our son had so many wonderful experiences thanks to all their visits to soft play and different toddler groups, not to mention all the trips to wildlife centres and the wonderful gardens around Surrey and Sussex. He was really spoilt by her in that regard. Lastly, our son was no angel, but Sharon always knew exactly how to handle him when he kicked off, working with us to improve his behaviour and always willing to pass on tips and tricks she has picked up over the years. Every morning he was excited to go to "Nanny Sharon" and he made lots of lovely friends.
I really can't recommend Sharon highly enough, and if we weren't moving abroad she would without doubt be minding any children we have in the future! If you want a childminder who goes above and beyond and truly cares about the development of the children she looks after, then you can't go wrong with Sharon!

Thank you so much Patrick is such a lovely little boy we all miss him good luck in your move please send updates .
We have been so incredibly blessed to have Sharon Bone as our “Nanny Sharon” since June 2017. Sharon has been a loving, dependable, incredibly warm and nurturing childminder for both of our children since they were infants.
Our older child started at Sharon’s setting when he was just 10 months, and at the time Sharon lived in Redhill, 5 minutes away from us. He was there until he turned 3 and started in nursery, at which point Sharon had moved to Horley and our second was born. We treasured her contribution to our family and the early years of our older child so much that there was no question we would do the longer drive to Horley to make sure our second had a similar experience prior to starting nursery.
The kids have benefited a tonne from Sharon’s setting; they are independent, confident, and well behaved. They have had a lot of experience from days out, which they wouldn’t have had if they had been in a nursery from infancy; trips to the beach, farms, soft play centres, parks, walks around the neighbourhood, all the things that working parents desire to give their young children but might not be able to do so because of the commitment required from full time jobs.
Sharon is incredibly knowledgeable on everything concerning the needs of young children, undoubtedly gained from raising her own and being a childminder for as long as she has been. She is professional and organised, and the experiences she has given to the children have tied in with expected development as they have grown. She embodies everything a parent would want to see from a person / setting that their child spends a considerable amount of time with.
As a family, we have grown to love Sharon and will do everything (shy of having more kids!) to keep connected even after our children have left her setting. We’re more than happy for anyone with questions / seeking clarity to reach out to us if needed.

Thanks Julie again its been a pleasure working with you and Bruno and raising the children they are a credit to you.
Would give her 10 stars if we could!
We have used Sharon for the last five years for both our girls and were so happy we found her.
She has a wonderful home setting with toys, games and a lovely garden. She takes the children on regular outings - getting them out and about everyday.
They grow in confidence with her as she takes time to focus on the needs of each child individually.
She is super kind, fun, organised…and our girls absolutely blossomed under her care!

Thanks Lindsay the girls are lovely, we will stay in touch I'm sure the girls will flourish at school .x
We were very careful when picking a childminder for our son. As soon as we met Sharon our search was over.
The first thing we noticed is that she is very professional, warm, genuine and caring.
Our son was only 8 months old when he brought him for the first time and so we needed to be sure that he would be in good hands. Sharon totally exceeded all our expectations. Our baby daughter is now at Sharon’s as well and she is super happy. Sharon has a beautiful home with a lovely garden to venture into in summer and an exceptionally stocked playroom. She truly focusses on developing children’s practical as well as emotional skills and engages with them in inspiring activities and frequent trips to parks, libraries, playgroups, gardens or farms. Her care is so amazing that no nursery or school compares.. We are so lucky and spoilt to have you Nanny Sharon!

Both our daughters went to Sharon from the ages 1-3, she looked after one or the other for almost 5 years and we could not recommend her more. The girls absolutely love their Nanny Sharon, she really became part of the family.
Sharon gave them both such lovely experiences with trips to the farm, beach, park and soft play. They were always out and about every day and when at home always playing with different activities or puzzles, water play, messy play or baking and crafts. They learned so much and had so much fun.
Sharon has always been great with advice for the kids from potty training and fussy eating so has been a massive help to me too. Her setting is always clean and tidy and she is so great with the kids. My girls made some friends for life with the other children in her setting and also her grandchildren who they love to play with when they can.

Thanks Meg it’s been lovely working with you and Ross raising two lovely little girls. See you all soon x
Our daughter has been with Sharon for the last 2 years and we are so happy that our second daughter will start with her next month.
When you return to work, finding the right child care is so daunting, but with Sharon we just knew from the start, our daughter would be in safe and loving hands.
Not only is her home a wonderful place for kids, with a dedicated play room and lovely garden, she also takes the children out nearly every day, which has been fantastic for our daughter. Whether it’s nature walks, visiting National Trusts, soft play on rainy days, the benefit of getting out and about and experiencing the world is invaluable.
It’s absolutely no surprise that she has an outstanding OFSTED report. We would recommend her highly to anyone!
From our daughter: I just love Nanny Sharon. She makes me happy :)

"Nanny Sharon" has looked after our son since he was 9 months old when I returned to work and we are now heartbroken to be leaving as we are moving house. I feel very lucky to have found Sharon and doubt there are many people who put their heart and soul into their work like she does. Sharon has a wonderful set-up and playroom in her home which is always spotless (I don't know how she does it) and provides a welcoming place for the children in her care to explore. Our son was also taken on multiple days out each week to exciting places whether that's the farm, soft play or a National Trust property, so much so that we did feel like we were missing out on all the fun! I always had absolute confidence that he was in the most capable of hands with Sharon and always knew his wellbeing was put first. We would get daily notes in his journal finding out about what he had done/learned that day which really helped make sure we felt in-the-know at every stage. Sharon really does things by the book and his development was keenly assessed and nurtured during his days with her so we always felt confident that if there were ever any concerns they would be picked up on promptly (which can be very reassuring for first-time parents). The only issue with Sharon is she really has set the bar too high and I doubt we'll ever find someone quite like her again! Sharon, we will miss you dearly and can't thank you enough for taking such wonderful care of William! Thank you!!

"Nanny Sharon" has looked after our son from June 2017, when he was 10 months old, to August 2019, when he turns 3 and moves on to nursery.
I initially met with Sharon after I had already seen a few other options for childcare so I had an idea of what to expect from a childminder. I was very pleasantly surprised by how organised and immaculate her home was. The children have a dedicated play room with access to a large enclosed garden, and there are bedrooms available for them to take their naps in. The kitchen is also large enough for them to have their snacks and meals together, which has made it easier to enforce this social time at home as well. One thing in particular that I noticed and very much loved in her setting was that there were toys / books / dolls that made it clear she was also conscious about providing children with materials that helped them appreciate the different backgrounds and ethnicities around them.
Sharon is a very approachable, likeable, energetic individual. I knew as soon as I met her that I wanted her to look after my son. She takes the children out of the house most days and my son has benefitted tremendously from the adventures they have had going to the farm, the beach, as well as the usual parks and soft play. The experiences my son has had from being with Nanny Sharon since my return to work, I don't think he would have had elsewhere. Sharon also gets the children involved in a lot of indoor activities; planting seeds and seeing them grow, watching caterpillars morph into butterflies, creating cards for special occasions, painting, the whole lot.
She keeps a daily diary which she fills in with information about the day they have had, how much food / sleep he has had, as well as lots of pictures taken during the day. That has worked really well towards keeping us as parents always updated.
Sharon is also firm with the children but equally affectionate, and has become very special to both my child and us as parents! She is very knowledgeable and I usually ask for her advice / opinion on all things related to the different phases my son has gone through while he has been in her care. He has really flourished and we are sad about having to move him to preschool nursery; any child would be very well taken care of in Sharon's care.
