Hi, I'm an 18-year-old student based in Edinburgh with a passion for working with children. I enjoy helping children learn, play, and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment. I have completed Health and Social Care Level 5 and have recently completed an Access to Nursing course. I have also received a conditional offer to study Radiotherapy and Oncology at Queen Margeret University. My background in health and social care has helped me develop strong communication, problem solving, and caring skills that i bring into my work with children.
I understand the importance of creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable, listened to, and encouraged to be themselves.
My Experience
I provide reliable and engaging babysitting services for children aged 4 years and above. I am happy to assist with meal and snack preparation, homework support, bedtime routines, reading stories, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, and light household tidying related to the children.
I have several years of experience caring for children in both informal and supervised settings. From the age of 14, i assisted an experienced babysitter for several months, helping care for children aged 4-7 through activities, play, meal preparation, supervision and tidying.
I have also regularly cared for my younger siblings and have experience supervising groups of children at family and social events. Parents have often commented on how well i connect with children, my ability to keep them engaged, and my calm and responsible approach.
I have experience supporting a child with autism and understand the importance of patience, communication, and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
In addition, my health and social care training and care work experience have helped me develop strong safeguarding awareness, responsibility, and confidence when supporting others.

- Available throughout summer, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Open to both occasional and regular babysitting opportunities.
- Comfortable caring for multiple children at once.
- Comfortable with pets in the home.
- Based in Edinburgh and willing to travel to surrounding areas including falkirk and glasgow.
- PVG check can be provided or obtained if required.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My hourly rate is £12 per hour
Additional time beyond agreed booking will be charged at the same hourly rate.
Rates can be discussed for multiple children, longer bookings, or regular childcare arrangements.
