About Me
My name is Harpreet Kaur, and I'm currently studying psychology in London. I have a diploma in child education and applied psychology. I also completed a six- month internship working with children. I'd like to believe my studies and training have given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior, and how to support children positively.
I also have experience caring for and tutoring children aged up to 10 back home in India. I really enjoy helping children with their academics through fun learning activities. Since childhood, I've also enjoyed creating fun games among my friends, which I now do for all children, so there's always something exciting for the kids.
I must mention I'm also really confident in cooking and making yummy and healthy meals for kids.
My Experience
As part of my internship, my duties were to maintain strong relationships with parents and teachers and prepare learning lessons. After completing my internship, I started tutoring 7 students. I supported them with their homework, assessments, and exam preparation. I also helped them develop good study habits.
In addition, I looked after 2 children from the same families before and after school, which included getting them ready for school along with breakfast and lunch. In the evening, it included a meal, and after that, I assisted them with their homework as well.
Moreover, I have also worked with toddlers for 6 months along with my studies to gain some extra cash.
