About Me

I’m a 20-year-old university student going into my final year of psychology, offering flexible babysitting during the summer and holiday periods. I am friendly, responsible and reliable, with experience working with children in school settings, including those with special educational needs. I aim to provide a safe, caring and engaging environment where children feel comfortable. I am available for occasional or regular babysitting and can help with playtime, homework, bedtime routines. I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.

My Experience

During my university schedule i have worked on 3 occasions as an unqualified Teaching Assistant in schools, supporting children in the classroom. My experience has mainly involved working with children and those with SEN, helping them complete activities and support their learning while encouraging development. These roles helped me build strong communication, patience and childcare skills.

My Qualifications

- Enhanced DBS check
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
- Experience working as an unqualified teaching assistant in schools
- Experience supporting children
- Approaching my final year of university studying psychology
- Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare through school based work

My Availability

Flexible summer availability, including weekdays, evenings, and many weekends. I have a few pre-booked commitments and a holiday planned, but I will keep my availability updated and am happy to discuss dates.
