About Me

We are a family based in Haywards Heath with our almost 1-year-old son, Atlas, who will turn one in September and start nursery full-time.

As we don't have any family nearby, we're hoping to build a long-term relationship with one or two trusted ad hoc nannies or babysitters who can become familiar faces for Atlas and someone we can rely on whenever we need a little extra support.

This might include, for example, evening or weekend babysitting, a few hours during the day while we attend appointments, or occasional childcare if Atlas is unable to attend nursery or the nursery is closed. We are looking for someone who can care for Atlas in our home, where he feels most comfortable. We also have a very friendly indoor cat.

As first-time parents, we're new to arranging childcare outside of family and nursery, so we're taking our time to find the right fit for Atlas. We hope you'll understand.

We usually like to start with a short phone call, followed by a face-to-face meeting if it feels like a good fit. During August, we'd also like to arrange one or two paid trial sessions before I return to work in September, so Atlas has the opportunity to get to know you and we can all feel comfortable.

For us, trust, reliability and finding the right long-term fit are far more important than finding someone at short notice.
