About Me

My name is Ashley. I’m looking for a child minder for my son George who will be two in October.
Initially I’m looking for one day a week. Roughly 10-3.30.
George is a beautiful, happy and contented little boy but has a few medical conditions that have proven difficult to find a nursery that are happy to have him.
He has a CHD but this has gone from a severe leak to now mild. So far, this has not affected him but obviously we will forever be vigilant. No medication needed.
He has a rare skin condition called Cutaneous Mastocytosis. This is to do with the levels of Hystamine in the bone marrow, it presents itself with marks all over the skin and these do and quite often blister. It also causes hot flushes that can bother him slightly and be itchy. We have medication he takes and cope with blisters simply with cleaning, sudocream and plasters.
He has developmental delay and we are still having investigations and appointments in London.
He is the happiest, most contented little boy who is driven through songs and nursery Rhymes.
I am looking to go back to work for one day a week but leaving him isn’t an easy decision. However I really do believe with the right person and interactions with other children his age he could thrive and can only help him progress.
