My Experience

I bring a blend of professional and personal experience to my childminding practice. I am a qualified teacher with experience across Early Years and primary education, including working as an Assistant SENDCo supporting children with a wide range of needs. I have worked closely with families, schools, Surrey Early Years and other local childminders, and I am committed to inclusive, child?centred practice.

As a mum of two, I understand how important it is to find childcare that feels safe, warm and genuinely attentive. I draw on both my teaching background and my parenting experience to create a setting where children feel secure, confident and deeply understood.

My Availability

I offer term-time only childcare, Monday to Wednesday.

A Mon–Wed place is available from September 2026.

Breakfast and after school care for St Albans children with younger siblings attending during the day.

I accept Surrey funded hours for all eligible children, with meals, snacks and most consumables included. Additionally, tax-free childcare can be used to pay for hours outside of funding. Parents are asked to sign the Surrey Declaration Form each term.

I also offer settling-in sessions (one hour in a neutral space, one hour in the family home, one hour in the setting) free of charge, with additional sessions available at my ad-hoc rate.

My Fees

• Childminding from £8.50 per hour

My fees are designed to be clear, fair and sustainable for a small-ratio, high-quality setting where children receive personalised care, healthy meals and rich learning experiences.

Full day (10 hours, 7:30–17:30): £85

Breakfast session: £10 (includes a healthy breakfast)

After-school session: £20 (includes a pick-up snack and healthy evening meal)

Ad-hoc hours: £8.50 per hour (including inset days and hours outside funded weeks)

Sibling discount: 10% for school-age siblings

I accept Surrey funded hours, with meals, snacks and most consumables included. Optional outings or special activities may be charged separately. Parents are asked to sign the Surrey Declaration Form each term.
