About Me
We are a friendly family based in Nottingham, looking for a reliable and caring nanny/mother’s helper to support us as we welcome our second child later this year. We have a happy, energetic daughter who is almost 3 years old and attends nursery during term time. We are seeking someone who is warm, trustworthy and proactive, and who enjoys working with young children. We value kindness, good communication and a positive attitude, and are looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our family routine.
My Requirements
We are seeking a part-time nanny or mother’s helper to start in December 2026 with hours to increase in May 2027. Primarily focused on caring for our baby and assisting with general family organisation.
Following maternity leave, I will be working from home three days per week and travelling to the office on two days. Support will mainly be required on my work-from-home days, helping to care for the baby during meetings and busy periods, while I remain at home and available.
Our older daughter attends nursery, so nursery collections and bedtime routines would only be required occasionally and by prior arrangement.
We would also appreciate help with light household duties related to the children and family life, such as children’s laundry, tidying play areas, preparing simple meals or snacks, and helping to keep things organised.
We are looking for someone who is experienced with babies and young children, dependable, nurturing and comfortable working alongside a parent who is often at home.
