Hello there, my name is Summer!
I am a fully qualified childcare professional with 3 years experience working in a nursery setting. I’ve always been very maternal and have loved caring for children from a young age, whether that’s through my work or helping out with children in my family. My nickname is the ‘family nanny’!
I also babysit for families from the nursery I previously worked at and have built some lovely relationships with both the children and parents.
I recently joined the NHS as a support working within an adult ward, to gain some experience in a different setting, which has been a valuable and rewarding experience; however it has made me realise how much I love and miss working with children and supporting families. I’m now looking to start my nannying journey, where I can provide caring, reliable and fun childcare in a home setting. I am kind, patient, trustworthy and passionate about helping children learn, grow and feel happy and safe.
My Experience
I have experience working in a nursery caring for children of different ages, supporting their learning, development, and daily routines. My responsibilities included planning and leading age-appropriate activities, encouraging children’s social and emotional development, assisting with meals and hygiene routines, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment at all times.
Through my nursery experience, I have developed strong communication, patience, and childcare skills. I enjoy building positive relationships with children and their families and helping children learn through play while supporting their individual needs and interests.

My Availability
I am looking for a full time nannying position!
I am available for nannying and babysitting on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I can be flexible to meet families’ needs and am happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare arrangements. Please contact me to discuss specific days and times.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
£16 an hour for two children under 5 , prices can be reduced to reasonable offers
Rates for more than 2 children can be discussed depending on ages and requirements
