About Me

Hello, I’m Kirstie the Owner of Little Buds Childminding. I am married to Matthew, and mother to my three daughters. We are located in WV11. I have been working in the Early Years sector since 2013, and in 2025 I qualified as an Early Years Teacher, which inspired me to become a childminder.

I offer a home from home environment where your child will thrive, feel comfortable and enabled to explore, learn and develop. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted requirements to ensure my care is safe, consistent, and of a high standard. I am DBS checked, trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding, and fully insured. If you are looking for a home from home setting, then that is what you will find here at Little Buds Childminding.

I operate on our ground floor, which consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Children will also have access to our back garden. I live within walking distance of parks, shops, schools and libraries - visits to these will become part of our routine. Children will also occasionally explore other areas of our community via car, such as visiting farms, garden centres, soft play, museums etc.
