About Me
Hello, I am a newly registered Ofsted childminder, based between Sidcup and New Eltham train station. As an Ofsted approved provider I am fully trained in Early Years Foundation stage framework. My certificates include Fully pediatric first aid trained, clear enhanced DBS check, level 3 award in childminding and safeguarding children certified. I will be offering childcare in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment with a home from home feel for the under fives. I will be closely following the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages) which will enable me to encourage and help children towards their next developmental stages and goals. I believe all children are individuals and I hope to work in partnership with parents in order to offer your child the type of care you would wish for. I will be attending various toddler groups, library for story time, numerous parks and will enjoy days out. I also have a good range of toys, learning materials and arts and crafts at home. My Experience
Although I am new to professional childminding, I bring over 13 years of hands on childcare experience as a parent to my two children aged 12 & 13. I have been a stay at home mum to my children, but now they are older and more independent I have decided to return to work doing something I am truly passionate about. Becoming a childminder allows me to combine my years of parenting experience with my love of caring for children.
Raising my own children has given me experience in supporting children's development, establishing routines, encouraging learning through play and creating a safe caring nurturing home environment.
I understand the importance of patience, kindness, and building positive relationships with both children and their families. I am committed to providing a warm, welcoming setting where children feel happy, secure and valued.
As I begin my childminding journey, I am excited to offer high-quality care and continue developing my knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development.
