My Requirements

We are looking for afternoon and evening childcare and help in the house 3 days a week spread across Monday-Thursday from 14 Sept 2026. Main help needed in term time (job could be term time only or if all year school holidays can be more flexible/full days by arrangement). Duties will include cooking dinner (I do shopping), help with household tasks like washing, ironing, some light cleaning and tidying, running errands. Own car and driving licence is essential to pick up/drop kids to activities - we have parking available. Kids are well behaved but need prompting to get off devices, do homework, get kit ready for activities and they like to talk about their day etc. Candidate must love dogs and be able to manage taking dog for walk sometimes. This is a busy household, lots of sport and friends around. The kids are used to having an afterschool nanny and are polite and respectful. Usual hours 1-7pm please. 3 days required (3 days to be fixed between Monday and Thursday). We value a positive, cheerful attitude and someone who is a self-starter and can fill their time usefully when not needed for children's activities. We have a separate weekly cleaner but there are areas that I will ask you to help with. During school holidays we tend to vary the hours by agreement to compress to fewer longer days - but that is flexible and we discuss and agree in advance but I am also open to term time only employment if that is preferred.

Start date Monday 14 September please.
