About Me

My name is Karen and I am a registered childminder based in Thornton Heath, Croydon. I live with my husband ,two of my three children ages 21 and 14 respectively and my 31mths old granddaughter. I provide a warm home-from-home environment where children can play, learn and grow.
My setting is designed to support children from 3 months upwards with a range of activities including sensory play, arts and crafts, story time, outdoor play and local outings.

I follow the EYFS framework and support children's development through play, helping build confidence, independence ,resilience and school readiness. I believe every child is unique and I work closely with parents to meet individual needs, including SEND support where needed.

I offer funded childcare, flexible hours, healthy meals and snacks and regular updates so parents feel connected to their child's day.

My Experience

With over 13 years' experience as a Teaching Assistant and as a parent to three children aged 23,21 and 14, and grandmother, I bring both professional knowledge and real-life parenting experience to my childminding. I am passionate about creating a warm, safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.
